LOS ANGELES – The Streamy Awards has found its next host.

Vine star King Bach (real name Andrew Bachelor) will take on the hosting gig for the 6th annual awards show, which honors excellence in online video and those who create it.

“It’s an honor to be able to celebrate the accomplishments of my peers, as they continue to innovate and entertain audiences worldwide,” King Bach said in a statement. “Supporters should look forward to unbelievable performances, surprises and appearances from some of the best individuals in digital entertainment.”

Bachelor, who is 28, is the Guinness Book World Record holder for the most followed account on Vine. The digital influencer boasts more than 15 million subscribers and 5 billion views on the platform, and won the inaugural “Viner” award at last year’s Streamy Awards.

He also has his own production company and has appeared on a handful of television shows including House of Lies, The Mindy Project,Black Jesus, Punk’dand Resident Advisors.

Presenters for the 6th Annual Streamy Awards include: Gabriel Conte, Philip DeFranco, Brittany Furlan, Gigi Gorgeous, Joey Graceffa, Grace Helbig, Jenna Marbles, Tyler Oakley, Lele Pons, Rhett & Link, Lilly Singh, Superfruit, The Try Guys and What’s Up Moms.

The multi-platform awards show, which is like the Oscars for digital influencers, is co-organized by Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter. This year, it will take place on Oct. 4 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

A distribution partner has not yet been announced, though last year’s show was broadcast on VH1 and its online platforms.
