【】The homies Horovitz, Hanna, and Heins

Donald Trump has said American women might just "have to go to another state" to have an abortion. 。

But Ad-Rock of the Beastie Boys, otherwise known as Adam Horovitz, is one person who's trying to help women hold onto the right to choose. And he's designing a new sneaker to do it.。

Proceeds from sales of the Keep x Ad-Rock midtop shoe will go toward Planned Parenthood, which also offers medical services like maternal care. To produce the new $97 sneaker, the artist is teaming up with Los Angeles-based vegan footwear maker Keep, which has worked with artists such as Bon Iver and Animal Collective, according to 。 Pitchfork 。Pitchfork。

"Winter’s cold and I couldn’t find a warm sneaker to walk around in. Given the outcome of our current election, it’s gonna get a lot colder before we can feel that summer sun again" Horovitz wrote in a statement to 。

Pitchfork. 。

"Net proceeds of this shoe will be donated to Planned Parenthood because I support a woman’s right to choose and feel that women should not be punished for making decisions about their own lives and bodies," he wrote. "If you have similar beliefs, you might wanna grab a pair."。

Horovitz has been trying to be a generally good human and stand up for the communities feeling marginalized by a Trump presidency. Earlier this month, he gave a moving speech at a small Brooklyn park named after his late bandmate Adam Yauch, where racist graffiti was found.。
