Now, however, owners of Mercedes-Benz's Maybach, the EQS and EQS SUV, the EQE, and the S-Class models, will be able to enjoy music in Spatial Audio as well. The feature is integrated with the MBUX infotainment system, so only cars that have it will get Spatial Audio.

The EQE still doesn't have a price as it's coming next year, but, just for reference, the electric EQS sedan starts at $102,310, while the EQS SUV starts at $104,400.

You'll also need an Apple Music Individual or Family subscription, which costs $9.99/$14.99 per month, to get access to the feature.

Hands On With the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd Generation)

"We are proud that our vehicles will be the first-ever non-Apple devices to feature immersive Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos. This seamless experience shows how in-car entertainment can reach exciting new levels by perfectly integrating hardware and software," Markus Schäfer, CTO at Mercedes-Benz Group AG, said in a statement.

The first Mercedes-Benz model to get Spatial audio was the limited edition Mercedes-Maybach by late Louis Vuitton artistic director Virgil Abloh, which was launched last month. It has a Burmerster 4D sound system which includes 31 speakers, and two amps with a total of 1,750 watts of power. If you're one of 150 people who bought one, congratulations; for everyone else, Apple says Spatial Audio will be rolled out to other models "soon."
