LeBron James, the four-time NBA MVP and three-time champion, hopes Hillary Clinton will take her talents to the White House in January. 。

Lebron, a celebrity in Cleveland and native of Ohio, may be an influential voice in favor of Clinton in the pivotal swing state.。

He's done so by maintaining the Lebron James Family Foundation, which includes his Wheels for Education and Akron I PROMISE Network programs.。
He's looking for a president who shares that goal. 。
Thanks for signing up!。
"When I look at this year’s presidential race, it’s clear which candidate believes the same thing," James writes. "Only one person running truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty. And when I think about the kinds of policies and ideas the kids in my foundation need from our government, the choice is clear." 。
James also addresses race-related violence, and believes in Clinton's "message of hope and unity that we need." 。
His op-ed comes in stark contrast to another high profile athlete's comments. Last week, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick considered the choice between Clinton and republican presidential candidate Donald Trump picking between the "lesser of two evils."。
"It was embarrassing to watch that these are our two candidates," Kaepernick told reporters Tuesday. "Both are proven liars and it almost seems like they're trying to debate who's less racist."。
In a move that was surely coordinated, Clinton will be in Akron — James' hometown — on Monday.。
