On Oct. 17, Brooklyn-based ice cream purveyor Ample Hills posted a call to arms on Instagram, asking for flavor suggestions based on the Gilmore Girls. The winning suggestion earns the creator a free pint of the stuf,f plus bragging rights for life.

If you’re out on the road, feeling lonely and want something cold, all you have to do is name this scoop, and you'll win this in one fell swoop...It’s time to summon The Town Troubadour and call Michel to make a reservation at The Dragonfly: The #GilmoreGirls are returning this Thanksgiving, and we are making a flavor to celebrate. Whether you are Team Jess or Team Dean, we are calling on you to create and name a flavor worthy of this Stars Hollow reunion. Put on your Sookie chef hat, fill up at Luke's Diner, stop by Doose’s Market, and tap into your inner Paris Geller to fire up that competitive spirit to produce pop culture references so rapid-fire it would make Lauren Graham blush. Comment below with your suggested names and flavor combinations. The winner gets a free pint, a cup of coffee, and an invitation to Friday night dinner. Contest ends 10/31.

The contest, which continues through the end of the month, has already spawned suggestions like "It's Okay to Wallow" (cake batter ice cream, cookie dough balls, butterfinger pieces, salted caramel and chocolate sauce swirls), "Luke's Diner" (coffee ice cream with crushed coffee beans, pieces of buttery pancakes, and a maple coffee caramel swirl) and the abstract yet dead on "THE KIRK"  (basically mix everything you can together since he did have every job).At the time this piece was published, the post had 448 flavor suggestions, so if you want your Paris-inspired ice cream confection to become a reality (chock full of macarons and ennui, natch), there's no time like the present.
