Olive Garden has released a dish called the "loaded pasta chips."

The Italian-ish restaurant chain debuted the carb-heavy chips last week. The "chips" are made of fried lasagna, and come loaded with various cheeses, and a "hearty meat sauce" that's made up of chicken, meatballs, and sausage. Then it's topped off with alfredo sauce and tomatoes. According to Olive Garden's menu, the dish comes out to a whopping 1,520 calories.

Like with Olive Garden's other dishes, people are questioning the pasta chips' cultural authenticity.

Olive Garden's menu has a history of offending Italian grandmothers, and this dish is no exception.

Others chose to look on the bright side, pointing out brilliant fast food cultural fusions like Taco Bell's nacho fries.

You can find these loaded pasta chips at your local Olive Garden for about $7.49, dependiong on your location, and they're even available for take-out -- just in time for the Super Bowl.
