The Spice Girls making a comeback is what 2018 needs right now, among other things.

The English girl group reunited on Friday for the first time since the London Olympics in 2012. The group all met up at Geri Halliwell's (Ginger Spice) home to speak with their former manager about upcoming projects.

It feels like 1994 all over again, so bring out the butterfly clips and chokers.

The girls posted pictures of the meet up on social media and brought fans into a pure nostalgia. It even had celebrities like Millie Bobby Brown (who was born in 2004) celebrating the get together in hopes of a future reunion on stage.

According to TMZ, the group released a statement saying, "We have enjoyed a wonderful catching up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together. We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for The Spice Girls"

"The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together. We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations."

We look forward to what 2018 has in store for them.
