It's no wonder then that Matthew McConaughey faked an Australian accent after returning home from living Down Under for one year between high school and college. 。

McConaughey pulled the accent for almost 12 months while he was studying at the University of Texas at Austin, he told Seth Meyers Friday on 。 Late Night with Seth Meyers  。Late Night with Seth Meyers。

To be honest, judging by his interview with Meyers, McConaughey has a pretty dodgy Australian accent. But maybe no one knew better -- how many real Aussies can you run into in Austin anyway?
