There's no better way to realize fall is coming than to freak out about Emmy nominations. It's the end of the line for Emmy favorites like Game of Thronesand Veep, who came in out of the gate with multiple nominations to add to their already impressive piles. Throneswas once again the most-nominated series in the running, with 32 nominations total. HBO itself secured 137 nominations, followed by Netflix with 117, including hits like Russian Dolland Ava Duvernay's When They See Us.

In addition to usual suspects Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, and Kit Harington, Thronesalso garnered nominations for mainstays like Gwendoline Christie and Alfie Allen (even Lena Headey secured a final nomination for Cersei Lannister, who mostly stood in a window drinking wine and looking angry this season. Good for her!).
