Gary from Chicago got more time at the Oscars than 98% of all award winners tonight and you know what? That's okay.

Gary from Chicago -- now a household name -- started as a member of the tour group that Jimmy Kimmel brought into the ceremony as part of a prank. Gary confidently waltzed into the theater unsurprised, wearing shorts and holding his fiancée Vicky's purse.

Gary recorded most of the bit on his purple cell phone, taking breaks to kiss Meryl Streep's hand and get married by Denzel Washington. Gary also took a selfie with what appeared to be Mahershala Ali's Oscar but not Ali himself.
