Wales is often called the castle capital of the world, with over 600 castles, of which 100 are still standing. 。

So you can't really blame this wedding party that turned up to the wrong castle.。

Problem is, the two castles are some 124 miles away. The mixup happened in Wales' oldest town of Carmarthen, where the group expected to see Caernarfon Castle.。

Instead, there stood the smaller, less majestic but equally historic Carmarthen castle.。

Carmarthen town councillor and tour guide Phil Grice said the blunder has happened more than once. 。

"The only way we have worked out that people have come to the wrong town is when they seek directions to a church which is not existent in Carmarthen," he said.
