When Mitch McConnell shut down Elizabeth Warren mid-debate, he later uttered the words that would be heard around the world: "She persisted."。

It was his defense for stopping Warren right in the middle of her speech addressing past statements against Attorney General Jeff Session, in which she read a cautionary letter from civil rights leader Coretta Scott King. But it quickly became a rallying cry in defense of Warren and others who've persisted. 。

Now the phrase will be the title of a children's book by Chelsea Clinton, with illustrations by Alexandra Boiger, Entertainment Weekly 。reports. The book, which has a release date of May 30, tells the story of 13 figures in American history, all women who didn't take no for an answer. 。
