While many Game of Thronesfans mourned the loss of Ygritte in Season 4, there was always another wildling kissed by fire set to steal our hearts. In Game of ThronesSeason 7, episode 6, Tormund Giantsbane proved more than ever that he's one of the only people worth loving in the ghastly scheme of Westeros -- and that's why he's this week's Game of ThronesMVP.

As our Eastwatch Avengers march toward the army of the dead, young Gendry has the most trouble adjusting to the climate -- he's never even seen snow before.

"How do you live up here?" Gendry asks. "How do you keep your balls from freezing off?"

"You have to keep moving, that's the secret," Tormund says. "Walking's good, fighting's better, fucking's best."

"There's not a living woman within a hundred miles," Jon laughs.

"We have to make do with what we've got," Tormund replies smugly.

That's right, Tormund Giantsbane is the most sexually liberated person on this show now that Dorne is a thing of the past.

Even though he's agreed to join Jon and the others, Tormund thinks it's foolhardy of them to march willingly toward the Night King's army. Without Davos at their side, Tormund becomes an unlikely voice of reason in Jon's ear: even the free folk, led by Mance Rayder, bent the knee when it was important to their survival. Mance's refusal to do so, purely because of pride, lost many innocent lives.

Later, Tormund tries to bond with the Hound, who goes into full gay panic mode over a few personal questions.

"You want to suck my dick, is that it?" The Hound asks.

We then learn that the word "dick" apparently doesn't exist north of the wall -- where they prefer "cock" -- and have to pause for a few minutes to laugh about what that would mean for poor Dickon (R.I.P.).

"I like it," says Tormund, before clarifying his preference for women. "I have a beauty waiting for me back at Winterfell, if I ever get back there. Yellow hair, blue eyes, tallest woman you've ever seen -- almost as tall as you."

The Hound is more than slightly shocked, as he puts the pieces together, to learn that Tormund loves Brienne of Tarth.

"I want to make babies with her," says Tormund. "Think about it: Great big monsters, they'd conquer the world."

If you've read this far, it's no spoiler that Tormund survives his squad's unbelievably close call with the White Walkers and the army of the dead.

At one point, several wights attacked him simultaneously, and so severely that Tormund uttered the scariest words he's ever said: "Help me!" We thought it might be over as they tried to drag him into the water, but even the Hound wouldn't let that happen.

As Tormund reminds us, he's a fighter. It'll take more than that to take him down.
