As expected, AI, dominated the show, with tons of new products adding Amazon Alexa support. The weirdest one might have been LG's Smart InstaView refrigerator. Do you really need Alexa in your fridge?

We also saw a boatload of self-driving smart cars and futuristic car technology. Noteworthy appearances came from Faraday Future, which finally showed off its high-tech FF 91 and Toyota's Concept-i UX car with built-in Yui digital assistant.。Mashable Light SpeedWant more out-of-this world tech, space and science stories?Mashable Light SpeedWant more out-of-this world tech, space and science stories?Sign up for Mashable's weekly Light Speed newsletter. 。

The coolest piece of car technology was, perhaps, BMW's HoloActive Concept. Lance was lucky enough to check it out and he was blown away by the midair hologram buttons that vibrated on his fingertips when he poked them.。

PCs also came out in full force -- and bigger than ever before. 。

PCs also came out in full force -- and bigger than ever before. My personal favorite was Razer's Project Valerie with the three 4K displays (12K in total!). It's just unreal to have that many pixels in a "laptop". Alas, it's just a concept and some jerk(s) stole it -- both prototypes, even! -- at the end of the show.。

Acer's Predator 21 X and its colossal 21-inch curved screen, dual NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics cards and gazillion ports was also an impressive display. Too bad it'll cost you $9,000. 。

And of, course, there were lots of super thin TVs, like LG's insanely skinny "Wallpaper TV," that simply stunned. 。
